ABOUT ME

As with everyone, I have my own route into acting. My interest was sparked at school whilst incapacitated following a Rugby injury. It gave me a focus and one that I pursued throughout the rest of my education. Whilst studying a degree in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Warwick, I spent the majority of my time on the stage, and, following a successful run of Steven Berkoff’s Greek at NSDF (Best Actor Commendation - Sunday Times 2005), I decided to pursue this career path.

I spent a year studying for an MA in Acting at Mountview before graduating, fresh faced at the age of 21 years old, wholly unprepared for the industry. I decided to ground myself in a regular job and went into the RAF before then forging a career in business development in education. Although I have acted intermittently since graduating, it has been difficult to pursue acting alongside my commitments, but I am  now determined to return to the industry full-time.  I offer this not as justification but by way of explanation and to highlight that there is no one route into acting. I am confident that the experiences I have had, shape my approach to characterisation today.
